The old rhythms of life—work hard, do your best, stay busy, repeat—left many of us burnt out, disconnected, and wondering what we’re really building. For me, that moment came after the world shifted and everything started to feel off balance. I began to crave something more honest, more rooted, and more in line with what actually matters: health, home, family, and freedom.

But it wasn’t just a lifestyle shift I was after. Starting Black Bee Collective™ was also a leap of curiosity and courage—an experiment. I wanted to know if digital marketing and affiliate marketing could actually work. Could it really be possible to create income without clocking into the traditional 9 to 5? Could we design a life that allowed more time for family, more time for rest, and still supported us financially?

This space is how I’m finding out. And if it works—if this truly leads to freedom and sustainability—I’m going to share it. Not just for me, but for everyone who’s ever asked themselves, “Is there another way?” Because I believe we rise better when we rise together.

The name? “Black” is my last name, but the Black Bee is something more. I once read that black bees are lively, frugal, and resilient. They don’t need protection. They survive—thrive, even—without asking permission. That stuck with me. Because this collective isn’t just about me—it’s about all of us who feel that same tug in our spirit for something better. People are waking up. We’re surrounded by so much that isn’t real—technology, processed food, social media. It’s all designed to make us consume more, yet people aren’t happier. If anything, they’re exhausted.

I’m like a patchwork quilt of contradictions—one step forward, one step still figuring it out. My husband still swears by his frozen meatball meals. No matter how many better options we try, those meatballs always make a comeback. And vinegar? He refuses to go near it. But we make it work—because progress, not perfection, is the goal.
